Dan Fox

Dan comes from an agricultural background and he also spent a number of years in engineering before becoming a patent examiner and then a registered patent attorney. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Dan is also a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (and New Zealand). Dan has a great deal of experience in patent and trade mark litigation and works with a wide range of mechanical inventions, such as agricultural machinery, mining equipment, engines, vehicles, pumps, valves, medical devices, etc.
Ian Tannahill

Ian Tannahill

Ian is regarded by many as the most experienced trade mark practitioner in Queensland. Ian represents many small, medium and large enterprises in Queensland and northern New South Wales, including a number of Australian “icons”. He also represents a number of multinational corporations in patent and trade mark matters and has earned a reputation for providing dedicated service to his clients. Ian is a mechanical engineer, with majors in manufacturing and marine engineering and has written patent specifications in many different areas over his thirty years in the profession. Ian regularly presents at seminars for inventors, members of the legal fraternity and universities in Brisbane. Ian is also a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (and New Zealand).
